Convergence Innovation Competition: Held by the Georgia Tech Research Network Operations Center, the Convergence Innovation Competition (CIC) is open to all current students and is looking for new and creative ideas in the fields of “Converged Services, Converged Media, Converged Networks, and Converged Client and Server platforms and environments.”
Digital Media Demo Day: The Digital Media Demo Day is a showcase of the Georgia Tech Digital Media graduate program’s research projects and is open to students and industry professionals.
Ideas to Serve Competition: The Ideas To Serve (I2S) Competition is focused on discovering novel ideas or socially responsible products that have the potential to solve certain socio-economic or environmental issues. This competition is open to all Georgia Tech students.
InVenture Prize: The Georgia Tech InVenture Prize is an undergraduate student competition in which teams (or individuals) present their invention to a panel of expert judges for the shot at a first-place prize of $20,000 and a U.S. patent.
Startup Competition: Previously called the Georgia Tech Business Plan Competition, the Startup Competition now focuses on discovering a market opportunity and creating an innovative business model to address it. No written business plan, financial projections, or investor pitch is required. Instead, teams work together to define a compelling startup.
